Maxim Belciug Solo Guitar
The most solo of guitars, in dialogue with itself, with the place, and with time
On Sunday, at Plan Patru, guitarist Maxim Belciug invites audiences to a solo recital celebrating the expressive range and versatility of an instrument capable of transforming a handful of strings into an entire sonic universe.
Known for his concert performances and his passion for bringing classical guitar to diverse audiences, Maxim Belciug offers an encounter with music beyond the rigid boundaries of genre, tracing a path where structure meets freedom, and melancholy meets energy.
Titled The Magic of a Guitar, the recital takes listeners on a musical journey across different eras, styles, and sensibilities. From the rigour, balance, and refinement of Baroque music to the melancholy of tango and the vitality of flamenco, the programme explores the guitar’s ability to move effortlessly from delicacy to intensity, from introspection to exuberance.
Within the intimate atmosphere of Captain Pandele’s House, the recital becomes an invitation to listen closely and discover musical worlds that, despite their different origins and forms of expression, converge through the emotional power of performance.
